2024 EHRLICH VINEYARD SAUVIGNON BLANC

This elegant and complex wine offers beautiful aromatics, bright acidity and a rich mouthfeel. Notes of apple, green melon, white flowers and clementine on the nose are complimented by a broad palate with notes of chamomile, lemon curd and apricot.

“Impressive for its purity and focus, with a laser beam of salted lime slices, yuzu and pomelo, plus details of green tea, tarragon and lemongrass. Sleek and juicy, especially on the finish, where a touch of freshly grated ginger emerges. Drink now through 2030.”

SAUVIGNON BLANC CONSULTING WINEMAKER, LARS BJORKMAN

For going on 20 years now, Lars Bjorkman has been the winemaker at Oakville neighbor, Saddleback Cellars, where he serves alongside Saddleback’s owner, Nils Venge, the first Napa Valley winemaker to receive 100 points from Robert Parker.  As The Napa Wine Project describes:

“Lars works closely with his vineyard sources. Spending summers in Sweden as a child, Lars was introduced to foraging and a variety of aromas and flavors. This early imprint left a lasting impression and an appreciation for special and unique vineyard sites.“
