2024 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2024 vintage is characterized by deep dark fruit, elegant tannin, and striking natural acidity. Despite enduring a hot summer, heavy winter rains and protective vine canopies allowed the fruit to ripen beautifully, yielding a classic and vibrant vintage with exceptional aging potential.

“The 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of ripe boysenberry, cassis, and cocoa. On the palate, it has generous levels of black cherry, plum, cocoa and baking spices. This is a well-balanced wine with a refined tannin structure, good acidity and delivers impressive length of flavor and mouthfeel.” – Paul Hobbs, Consulting Winemaker

2023 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2023 growing season in Oakville produced a classic vintage! A wet winter and cool spring delayed budbreak, while a mild, steady summer allowed for extended hang time and even ripening. Harvest occurred under ideal, dry conditions, yielding fruit with excellent phenolic maturity.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of ripe blackberry and wild raspberry preserve. On the palate, it reveals layers of warm baking spices, toasted cedar, and a subtle graphite minerality. Elegantly balanced with refined structure and impressive length, it delivers a persistent and satisfying finish.

2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

Following the excellent 2021 vintage, 2022 started calmly. Winter rains ended three years of drought. Vines budded early, with brief heat spikes in late May and June. After normal July and August weather, early September brought a strong heatwave with record temperatures in Oakville. Cooler conditions returned before our October 10th harvest. Despite the heat, the grapes kept bright acidity and full ripeness, creating a fresh, age-worthy Cabernet.

This elegant Oakville Cabernet gains extra depth from 4% Petit Verdot. It offers aromas of dark fruit, cassis, graphite, and cedar. It’s full-bodied with dark fruit, cinnamon, spices, juicy acidity, and a long, satisfying finish.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2021 vintage was hailed as Napa’s best in over a decade. One of the driest years on record, the valley experienced cool nights and sunny days devoid of heat spikes resulting in even ripening. The wines display accessible structure, fine-quality tannins, a core of rich, vibrant fruit, and exceptional aging potential.

“This cabernet offers lovely aromas of blueberry and raspberry compote on the nose, accompanied by warm spice, cedar and graphite notes on the palate. Beautifully balanced and well-structured with a long, enjoyable finish.” ~Paul Hobbs, Consulting Winemaker
